Redding Rancheria Tribal Health Village
A state-of-the-art “health village”—or wellness campus—near the Win-River Resort and Casino, this project consists of an 80,000 SF, three-story outpatient clinic, complete with primary care, dental & behavioral health, pharmacy, community rooms, senior nutrition with serving kitchen, clinical administration, and outdoor roof areas. It also includes an 89,000 SF wellness center with a gymnasium, track, cardio studios, natatorium, juice bar, cafe, and outdoor swimming; a 10,000 SF atrium connecting the clinic and wellness center; and a 9,000 SF warehouse/repair shop.
Mercy Medical Center Redding – Cancer Center
This OSHPD 3 cancer center building will include medical oncology, radiation oncology, breast consultation, an infusion area, lab space, radiology, pharmacy, same-day care, education facilities, clinical and nonclinical support areas, public areas, and associated on/off-site improvements.

HCA Florida Trinity Outreach

The project consists of two components: secured hold at renovation and surgical expansion. We will be renovating four secured hold rooms and adding two ORs with the surgical expansion. The scope includes 3,287 SF of new construction, 1,262 SF of major renovation, and 147 SF of minor renovation. This project will be completed within an open and operational surgical suite/sterile processing department (SPD) and emergency department.

University Health Outreach

With two new projects starting under University Health, Turner Byrne SLM and Layton Construction have teamed up for a joint networking event to enhance our collective subcontractor diversity outreach.

The University Health Retama Community Hospital and the University Health Palo Alto Community Hospital
The University Health Retama Community Hospital and the University Health Palo Alto Community Hospital each span approximately 480,000 SF with 160 beds. Medical office buildings will also be constructed, spanning roughly 105,000 square feet. Each building will be up to five stories with site parking for over 2,500 vehicles.
Preconstruction interaction with the design is currently underway and will continue through March 2024. Construction will begin in the first quarter of 2024 and will follow a 30-month schedule. Both hospitals will include the following:

Oculta Roca:
This high-end resort comprises 14 amenity buildings servicing 21 guestroom units and multiple units for resort staffing on a 100+ acre site. Expected to start mid 2024 with off-site roadway improvements, the project will feature individual pools for each of the guestrooms and a larger infinity pool. The site will also have a horse stable, toy barn, and multiple walking trails for guests.

Amenities: Restaurant, pools, spa, fitness center, greenhouse, activity center, outdoor dining, horse stables, orchard, and outdoor firepit
SUU Music Building:
The SUU Music Building is a ground-up development to serve the university’s Music and Arts department and the greater community. The project will feature 40+ practice rooms, piano labs, music classrooms, percussion, instrument, and choral rooms, and an exapansive music hall.

UTU Cox Auditorium Remodel:
The Cox Auditorium remodel includes a complete retrofit of the existing space at UTU. The renovation includes increasing the restroom count to current best practices, upgrading and reconfiguring performer support spaces, upgrading acoustic treatments in the performance hall, and installing balcony seating in the audience chamber. Alongside the auditorium renovations, the scope also includes an 18,500 SF addition with expanded lobby space, a ticket office and concessions area, a shared event and rehearsal space, and a new elevator with egress stairs to service the balcony seating.
