  • Greg Kingsley

    President and CEO - KL&A Engineers and Builders

    Bio

    Dr Gregory R. Kingsley is a founding partner and, as of January 2025, the past President of KL&A Engineers and Builders. Greg is a structural engineer with a passion for the engineer’s role in architecture, and also, for the last fifteen years, mass timber and low embodied carbon design. He has led KL&A to a national leadership position in these areas. In his current role, he leads a new arm of KL&A focused on innovation, research, and development.

    KL&A is a 30-year-old firm of over 110 people, with 70+ structural engineers working in tandem with construction managers and VDC detailers to provide integrated design and construction services. We work in all materials and all vertical project types, with integrated construction work focused on steel and mass timber structures. 

  • Trent Debth

    Vice President of Operations and Founder - Timber BLDR

    Bio

    Meet Trent, the friendly guy who swapped Iowa cornfields for the big skies of Texas and quickly found a love for the fascinating world of mass timber.

    When it comes to mass timber, Trent doesn’t just install it, he loves making connections and building relationships in the industry. From sustainable forestry practices to cutting-edge construction techniques, he’s got his finger on the pulse of mass timber.

    Mass timber really is on his mind at all times. When he’s not in the field for an installation or collaborating with engineers on the next project, you’ll likely find him partnering with local schools to share experiences and insights to inspire the next generation of construction professionals.

    For Trent, every board tells a story, every connection is a new adventure, and the possibilities are endless in the mass timber industry. If you’re looking for someone well-connected and in the know, Trent is your go-to guy.

  • Pete Kobelt

    Director of Mass Timber - Structure Tone Building Group

    Bio

    Pete Kobelt’s visionary leadership led to the conception and establishment of the first CLT manufacturing plant in the U.S. He further contributed to the construction of two additional plants while simultaneously exploring new markets and product applications. Pete also played a pivotal role in initiating and coordinating the first and largest Mass Timber student housing project in the U.S., as well as the development of the first High Density Library Storage Annex on a university campus. Additionally, he provided valuable consultation on the largest Mass Timber project in the U.S. for a confidential client.

    Sr. Principal - BHB Structural

    Chris Hofheins co-founded BHB Structural and has over 28 years of structural engineering expertise. With a passion for innovation and sustainable design, Chris has played a key role in advancing BHB's mass timber capabilities. BHB's mass timber portfolio includes notable projects like Baltic Pointe, Millcreek City Hall, and the Westminster Integrated Wellness Center, which showcased the versatility and beauty of mass timber structures. Chris's commitment to delivering creative, responsive, and well-coordinated engineering solutions has made him a trusted leader in the industry.

  • Anna Reisecker

    Sales Manager - Binderholz

    Bio

    Anna Reisecker is the Sales Manager for USA and Canada at Binderholz, a leading company in the timber industry with production sites in Europe and the US. Binderholz offers a full range of timber products, from sawn timber to solutions for affordable housing, and operates its own forestry management operations and seedling cultivation. Growing up in a family-run sawmill, Anna has deep roots in the timber sector. Over the past six years, she has been involved in several major Mass Timber projects, guiding them from early-stage concept through to delivery. Notable projects include the Under Armour HQ in Baltimore and INTRO Cleveland. In her presentation, Anna will share best practices and insights from her work at Binderholz, highlighting the role of Mass Timber in shaping the future of sustainable construction.

    Vice President of Construction - Harbor Bay Ventures

    Bio

    James serves as Vice President of Construction for Harbor Bay Ventures, where he oversees the delivery of new development and construction projects. His role begins once project opportunities are identified and the firm’s development objectives are established, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion.

    With a focus on excellence, James provides expert technical, budgetary, and scheduling guidance, driving projects to successful outcomes. He plays a pivotal role in fostering community support during city approval processes, ensuring projects align with both stakeholder expectations and municipal requirements.

    James exemplifies a standard of excellence, spearheading design and construction teams to achieve uncompromising results. His leadership was paramount in the planning, design, and construction of the nation’s largest mass timber project in Cleveland, Ohio—an achievement realized despite the unprecedented challenges of a global pandemic.

    Before joining Harbor Bay, James held senior management positions at several top 25 nationally recognized construction firms, where he oversaw over $800 million in projects across multifamily, hospitality, senior housing, and Fortune 100 corporate office markets. A veteran of the United States Air Force, James brings a disciplined, mission-driven approach to every endeavor.
